Tada is in charge of product sales for business IT. Leveraging her English and Chinese language skills, she actively participates in overseas product events, expanding her field of activity both domestically and internationally.
Q1: What is your current job and what is rewarding about it?
Building trust through collaborative problem-solving skills.
Currently, as a product sales representative in the business IT products division, I propose a wide range of products to customers, from newly launched products to those we've been handling for a long time. My sales approach involves proposing products that solve customers' challenges, protect their businesses, and further accelerate their growth, and providing ongoing support even after implementation.
Because I am in charge of products with many stakeholders within client companies, I make an effort to visit various departments and help them understand the product's benefits. I value deepening my product knowledge, organizing each customer's challenges and solutions, and communicating them to customers from various perspectives.
The most rewarding moments in my work so far have been when I was able to identify a client's underlying problems, explore solutions one by one through repeated meetings, and ultimately resolve them using the product I was responsible for. I felt a real sense of accomplishment from contributing to the client's business.
Furthermore, I was very happy when I built trust with customers through thorough after-sales support and received comments like, "I can consult with Mr. Tada about anything." While sales of my assigned products are certainly important, I also feel a sense of accomplishment when I introduce products outside my assigned area that are more suitable for the customer's situation and when that leads to solving their problems.

Q2: Why did you choose Macnica?
Young people can get involved in big businesses that contribute to society.
My previous job was at an SIer company that did business with Macnica. When I was looking for a new job to consider my future career, an acquaintance at Macnica introduced me to the company and suggested I give it a try, which is how I ended up joining. Even at my previous job, I had the impression that Macnica employees worked with enthusiasm and energy, so I had a good image of the company. The acquaintance who recommended me to join was in the department that proposes autonomous driving vehicles to local governments from the initial stages, and told me that even young employees are given the opportunity to play a central role in large-scale projects. I was attracted to the culture of empowerment and the opportunity to be involved in a business that contributes to society, so I decided to join the company.
After joining the company, I was surprised by its open corporate culture. In my previous job, the power balance meant that the opinions of technical staff tended to be reflected more easily, but at Macnica, the underlying principle is that "various opinions are necessary to achieve goals," so you can express your opinion regardless of your years of experience or job title, and it will be listened to. Because this culture is so deeply rooted, I was able to fit in quickly even though I joined mid-career. Also, there is a system in place where you can hear evaluations from your superiors, and in this respect as well, I feel that it is a transparent and open company.

Q3: An episode that made you grow
Raising your hand opens up more opportunities for growth.
I truly felt that Macnica is a company where "if you raise your hand, you'll get an opportunity" during my second year at the company.
I wanted to attend one of the largest cybersecurity events held in Las Vegas, USA, and when I consulted my supervisor, they readily agreed. It's an event where knowledgeable vendors and industry experts gather to get the latest information on cybersecurity in preparation for future threats. I majored in foreign languages in college and wanted to work in a job that brings new information from overseas to Japan, so that's why I wanted to participate.
At that event, in addition to assisting customers with information gathering, I was responsible for researching new products being handled by my division. Normally, I focus on "how to communicate the value of the products I'm in charge of to customers," but as a new mission, I considered, researched, and compiled information from a different perspective than my usual work, such as "what kinds of products are coming onto the market" and "what kind of synergistic effects can be created by combining them with the products of my division." This experience has been useful in my current work and has contributed to my personal growth.
Furthermore, there are many differences in thinking between Japan and other countries, and I have seen many instances where products that are popular overseas do not sell well in Japan. This event was a good opportunity to reconsider what kind of marketing approach is needed to convey the appeal of overseas products to Japanese customers.

MY VISIONFuture goals and aspirations
Since starting my career, I've consistently aspired to become a sales professional who can thrive globally. Because many IT products are developed by overseas vendors, I want to be a sales professional who possesses a wealth of information, along with technical and marketing knowledge, to develop new markets and contribute to society's happiness through the power of our solutions.
We want to make the most of Macnica 's unique environment, which allows us to handle everything from researching new overseas products to pre-marketing in the Japanese market and implementation in Japanese companies.
In my free time, I've also taken up golf! I often go with my family and colleagues from Macnica.
