Hasegawa, who supports the promotion of DX in the manufacturing industry through marketing, has completed numerous large-scale projects since shortly after joining the company. Currently, he is responsible for more upstream processes such as strategy planning and planning events for management, while generating results.
Q1: What is your current job and what is rewarding about it?
Approaching the problem from multiple angles
I am in charge of marketing for a business that supports the promotion of DX (Digital Transformation) for manufacturing companies. Specifically, my responsibilities include designing marketing strategies, planning and managing various events such as exhibitions, webinars, and roundtables, and creating web content, handling all aspects of initiatives from planning to execution.
I work in collaboration with sales, technical departments, and external partners, managing the progress of various projects including information dissemination and event presentations, as well as measuring and improving the effectiveness of initiatives.
I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I successfully lead large-scale events and projects, and above all, I am happy to be able to contribute to the transformation of the industry and the resolution of our customers' challenges through the promotion of DX. Furthermore, I find great satisfaction in being involved in all aspects of marketing, from strategy planning to execution, being able to turn my own ideas into reality, and creating results while collaborating with diverse members both inside and outside the company.
When I first joined the company, I had absolutely no knowledge or experience in marketing, so I started by gathering information and taking in new knowledge, and I made the most of the learning opportunities provided by the company. I am now applying the broad knowledge I gained at that time, such as how to create email newsletters and how to think strategically, to my work.

Q2: Why did you choose Macnica?
"People we want to work with" - personality and culture
In my previous job at a rental property management company, I was responsible for planning tenant-oriented campaigns and events, as well as creating websites.
My work involved devising ways to present properties and appeal to tenants, while considering "how to communicate effectively to attract them to rent."
Through that experience, I began to find enjoyment in delivering information to others, planning and executing projects, and taking on unprecedented challenges. As a result, when I started looking for a new job, I focused my search on companies with a marketing focus.
The reason I decided to join Macnica is because the recruiters were all very nice people, and I felt like I wanted to work with them. There was a relaxed atmosphere where I could easily talk about anything, and I felt that the company had a good working environment and easy communication. I was also impressed by the careful advice I received during the interview, such as "If you're looking to change jobs to grow, it would be better for you to change jobs that will allow you to take even a small step up," and by the cheerful greetings from the employees during the company tour.
I was drawn to the company's vision, the expansion of its business, and the culture of empowering young employees to work proactively from an early stage. Once I received an offer from Macnica, I stopped applying to other companies and joined the company right away.
Since joining the company, I've been given opportunities to take on a wider variety of tasks than I had imagined, and I'm happy to have gained broad experience and to be trusted by the company. Through trial and error in my work, I've developed the ability to turn failures into learning experiences, and my fear of starting things from scratch has disappeared. I think I've developed a positive mindset of "let's just try anything," and I've become more proactive.

Q3: An episode that made you grow
A challenge from scratch
Shortly after joining the company, I was put in charge of managing a product exhibition event for the first time. With limited experience in marketing, I was tasked with handling all aspects of the event, from meetings with the organizing company to setting up the venue, all by myself. I remember feeling a great deal of anxiety and pressure.
I relied on my seniors and team members who were always there to offer advice, and I worked hard to ensure the event was completed successfully and deliver results by maintaining close communication with all stakeholders. It was challenging to navigate unfamiliar tasks by trial and error, but it was also enjoyable, and I felt a great sense of accomplishment when I successfully completed it.
Through this experience, I feel I've developed the ability to plan and execute projects, as well as the skills to drive projects forward while involving many stakeholders. Now, I'm in a leadership position from the planning stage, such as developing marketing strategies, which has broadened the scope of my challenges, and I feel a real sense of personal growth.
Furthermore, in my second year at the company, I was put in charge of leading the exhibition team for a company-wide event showcasing our products. It was a large-scale event unlike anything I had experienced before, requiring collaboration with internal and external parties I had never worked with before. While flexibly responding to unexpected events and preparing to meet the deadline for the event, I developed the ability to manage my own and the schedules of those involved, as well as to oversee the entire project.

MY VISIONFuture goals and aspirations
I want to constantly challenge myself with new things and continue learning, while also working as an organization to implement marketing strategies that contribute to solving challenges in the manufacturing industry. In the future, my goal is to build a community by involving people inside and outside the company with expertise in various fields, and to become a force that can support the promotion of DX (Digital Transformation) across the entire industry.
In my personal life, I'm focusing on studying English so that I can communicate more deeply with overseas clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
