What graphs are available in Splunk?

By default, Splunk provides the following graphs:

• line graph
• Area Chart
• Column chart
• Bar chart
• pie chart
• Scatter Plot
• Bubble Chart
• Single values
• Radial Gauge
• Feeler gauge
• Marker Gauge
• Cluster Map
• Choropleth Map

How to increase chart types

If you want to use a graph other than the default one, you can extend the graph types by following the steps below.

Chart type extension procedure

• Access SplunkWeb.
• Select the gear icon in the upper left corner of the home screen and select "Manage Apps."
• Select Browse Other Apps.
• Check "Visual Effects" under APP CONTENT.
  *If you want to select a visualization effect supported by Splunk, check "Splunk Supported" under SUPPORT TYPE.
• Select "Install" for the visualization effect you want to add and install it.
  *The name of the visualization effect supported by Splunk is "<graph name>- Custom Visualization".
