Chapter 1A Friend You Can Talk to Will Give You Emotional Support

Takano

It's been more than two years since we joined the company, but do you still meet with your peers?

Tokuda

I meet a lot of sync! Of course, when the corona epidemic is calm. I often go out drinking with my close classmates and talk about work, and sometimes we play futsal together on holidays.

Yamada

When I go to the smoking area during break time, I often talk to my classmates, but we just talk about trivial things (laughs) "I recently bought ○○" is delicious." Chatting between work can refresh your mind, so spending time with your co-workers in the smoking area is a good way to relax (laughs) What about Mr. Takano?

Takano

I also often go to lunch with my classmates during our lunch break! We talk about personal topics, but we often talk about work. As I think both of us have felt through our actual work, Macnica has a deep-rooted culture of delegation of authority, and we are entrusted with various tasks from the time we are young. As a result, I have a lot of challenging work to do right now, and I often worry about it. At times like these, it's been a great support for me to have a peer who understands the operations I'm currently in charge of and listens to me.

Tokuda

I really understand that feeling. When things get tough, you want to talk to someone about it. You can talk to your family and friends about your worries, but if you are in the same class as you, who understand your work, you can talk about your worries in detail, and they will understand you and give you advice. be. In particular, I often feel uneasy about what to do if I fail. When I consult with my colleagues, I feel positive as a result, and I can work hard again from the next day.

Yamada

Assignments differ from person to person, but because they joined the company at the same time, they often have the same worries. When I talk with my classmates, I sometimes think, "I'm not the only one who has a problem," and it makes me feel like we're going to move forward together, even if it's reckless.

Chapter 2A Workplace That Recognizes and Respects Individuality

Tokuda

As Takano-san mentioned earlier, Macnica has a culture of delegating authority. What I heard from the HR department during my job search did not differ from what I had expected after I joined the company.

Yamada

I agree! Macnica has a culture where it is natural to entrust big tasks to young employees. Immediately after joining the company, I was in charge of security products for VPNs that make remote work possible, and I was responding to technical inquiries from customers, but as early as my second year at the company, I started working on a business that utilized a new product. I was given the mission to launch the company. When starting a new business, I also participate in sales expansion activities as well as sales, so it was a new challenge for me.

Tokuda

As soon as I joined the company, I was put in charge of a business with a large transaction amount, and I strongly feel that I have been entrusted with a job with great responsibility. What I strongly feel while being entrusted with work is that it is never "unleashed". It's not just entrusting work to subordinates, but bosses and seniors are watching me in detail. He reads all the emails we receive from customers, and if he thinks that this is likely to develop into trouble, he immediately follows up with us. I let my subordinates take on challenges for growth and job satisfaction, but I am very grateful that they help me when I am in a real pinch.

Takano

Also, in addition to the delegation of authority, the company culture that I felt after joining the company was ``open, flat, and fair''! After joining the company, I realized how amazing it is to have a culture where you can say what you want to say, even to your superiors and seniors! I can express my thoughts without hesitation, ``This is what I want to do!'' and even if I have a difficult time, I can talk to them right away. One of the attractions of Macnica is that you can say what you want to say and work in your own way.

Yamada

I feel like they have an environment where you can work comfortably. I think one of Macnica 's characteristics is that there are strong vertical connections with superiors and seniors, not just horizontal connections with peers.

Takano

Macnica has a lot of unique employees, but the good thing about it is that it's a workplace where we recognize and respect each other. I don't feel stressed because I can work freely without letting my thoughts smolder.

Chapter 2Synchronous Success Motivates Me

Yamada

Synchronization is a good existence that can work hard.

Tokuda

Exactly so! We in sales are required to have figures such as sales and the number of new projects discovered. In my department, there is a colleague who always has the highest number of business negotiations with customers in the department. Let's do our best!" Of course, work isn't about winning or losing, and the external environment is different depending on the department you belong to, so you can't compare the results, but the success of your peers motivates you to work.

Yamada

It's stimulating in a good way! I think both of us know that Macnica is a company that continually provides new opportunities to people who have achieved good results and are highly motivated, but the same company was seen in Macnica 's business video for external audiences the other day. When I saw my colleague, who is also a young person like me, being featured in a PR video for a company with sales of 1 trillion yen and speaking openly, I was proud as a colleague of mine, and I thought, ``I want to become a person who can be as active as him.'' Let's do it!'' I felt even more energized.

Takano

Even before this, the same sales person left a high sales record and was commended in front of all the employees. I think everyone in the same generation who was there was even more motivated. Because there are a lot of members who have a strong desire to rise in the same period (laughs).

Tokuda

It's important to work hard and grow! Rather than pulling each other down by making strange comparisons, it seems like we're raising each other up. My classmates are friends with whom I can share my worries, but I want to continue to improve my skills and grow while stimulating each other in a good way!
