Q1: What is your current job and what is rewarding about it?

To deliver the goods
Supporting the fundamentals of business

My job can be summed up in one word: "managing product deliveries to customers." Our role is to manage and coordinate the delivery of products ordered by customers so that they can be delivered by the delivery date they desire.
Working in business operations requires strong management and communication skills. I am responsible for around 50 clients, and each client has a different method of communication, payment, and delivery, so I need to respond to their requests in a detailed manner. Also, when external factors such as bad weather make it difficult to deliver products by the desired delivery date, I sometimes communicate with sales staff and clients to resolve the issue.

And the most important thing is to work quickly and accurately. If a mistake were to occur and the product was not delivered on time, it would cause great inconvenience to the customer, waste the efforts of the sales staff, and could damage the customer's trust in Macnica.
A business is only successful when products reach customers. I approach my daily work with pride, knowing that "I am the one who supports Macnica 's business!"

Since my fourth year at the company, I have also been participating in a project to create e-learning content for the sales department with the aim of improving their understanding of overall operational tasks. This is a project that only a handful of staff members out of a total of around 100 can participate in. One of the great things about Macnica is that as long as you have the motivation, ability, and aptitude, you are entrusted with work with great responsibility, regardless of seniority or position. I would like to support the leader and work together with my team members to contribute to the success of this project.
I believe that the reason I am able to maintain such high motivation is largely due to the presence of my superiors and seniors at Macnica. There are many people who are full of ambition, and seeing how they work makes me feel like I can't let myself get outdone. I also think that being able to immediately seek advice via chat if you have a problem is a great part of the culture. The reason I originally joined the company was because I was attracted to the "good people." I remember that all the employees I met during the selection process were warm and created an atmosphere where I could speak naturally. I'm blessed with great people and spend fulfilling days, which helps me approach my work more positively. I feel that Macnica has such a good environment.

Q2: An episode in which you grew

Through education, you develop yourself

In my third year at the company, I was put in charge of training junior employees. My role as a trainer is to work one-on-one with junior employees who have just joined the company, lecturing on business operations and providing support. My boss told me, "I'd really like to entrust you with the role of training, Okamoto-san, as you work so hard," so I accepted. I was very happy that my respected boss recognized the way I had worked hard at my job.

Of course, it's not easy to take care of junior employees while also juggling your own work. Now that I'm in charge of training myself, I'm reminded once again of how great my senior colleague was. No matter how busy he was, he answered my questions politely and without a hint of displeasure. Thanks to that, I was able to learn the job quickly. Now it's my turn. I want to create an environment where people are willing to listen and help my junior employees grow.

I also feel that my experience as a training officer has led to my own personal growth. For example, when I answer a question from a junior colleague, it helps me organize my thoughts, deepens my understanding and knowledge of the subject, and ultimately improves my work efficiency. Also, when I see a junior colleague being praised by someone, I feel as happy as if it were my own achievement. This is something I would never have imagined back when I was doing my best just to complete my work. Now I've also been entrusted with the role of team leader. I'm now required to summarize the opinions of team members and act with an awareness of the overall progress, and I feel my perspective broadening every day. I think one of the attractions of working at Macnica is the sense of personal growth that comes from taking on positions of responsibility and taking on new challenges.

MY VISIONFuture goals and aspirations

I want to gain experience, increase my knowledge, and become a more valuable member of the company.
If the opportunity arises, I would like to try working in another department. By broadening the scope of my skills, I would like to be able to understand the work from a more multifaceted perspective. I hope to enjoy change and build a career that is unique to me.

Message

I think the appeal of Macnica is the "kindness of the people." We have an environment where someone will naturally lend a hand when you're in trouble. Also, even if you're young, there are plenty of opportunities to take on new challenges if you raise your hand and say, "I want to try!" The environment is constantly changing, but I think you can grow by adapting flexibly and working together as a team.
