While many companies are moving towards cloud computing, there are still many cases where data is managed in on-premises environments or closed environments that are isolated from external networks.

In the past, the general idea was that "closed networks are safe," and the reality was that security measures within closed networks were not adequate. However, in recent years, increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks and vulnerabilities in VPNs and other systems have become more frequent, so it cannot be said that a closed network is necessarily safe.

In fact, because closed networks are not designed to withstand external attacks, there is a risk that once an intrusion occurs, the damage can easily spread to the entire internal network.

This seminar will focus on security measures for closed networks, and will explain the latest knowledge and know-how on measures to protect individual terminals (endpoints). We will introduce specific countermeasures for security issues unique to on-premise environments that cannot be solved by the cloud.
