LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensors have the best of both cameras and radar, and are one of the most important devices for autonomous driving cars and for realizing advanced safety driving functions. Innoviz's LiDAR, which Macnica has recently started selling, uses solid-state MEMS technology, which is mainstream for mass-produced cars, and has a smaller and lighter housing, making it competitively priced in the market. It is possible to provide. In terms of performance, it excels at high resolution, high sensitivity, and long-distance detection, and achieves a high frame rate of 25FPS. Furthermore, we will develop and provide object recognition software products to utilize the data collected by LiDAR.

Innoviz's LiDAR products are available in two types: InnovizPro ^TM and InnovizOne ^TM. "InnovizPro", which is currently on sale, is a product aimed at the industrial market, but due to its high level of performance, it has been decided to adopt it for autonomous driving shuttle buses. In addition, the next-generation product "InnovizOne" is an automotive-grade LiDAR that major vehicle manufacturers have decided to adopt, and we plan to start shipping mass-produced products in 2021.

With this agency agreement, Macnica will widely sell and provide Innoviz's LiDAR to domestic automobile and automobile-related parts manufacturers, construction machinery and agricultural machinery manufacturers, railways, mobility, etc. Additionally, Innoviz's LiDAR will be exhibited and demonstrated at the 2nd autonomous driving EXPO to be held at Port Messe Nagoya from September 18th to 20th, 2019.
