Macnica sponsored the event "Amata Smart City Showcase" of "The ASCN Conference & Exhibition 2019" held in Thailand from August 22nd to 24th, 2019, and introduced Autoware* to the autonomous driving demonstration vehicles handled by our company. We implemented it and conducted a demonstration of autonomous driving.

On the day of the event, 30 conference participants, including the minister of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society of Thailand, the chairman of Amata Corporation, the event organizer, and ASEAN government officials, actually took a test drive and went around the venue building. We had you experience autonomous driving in this. Many of them had never ridden in a autonomous driving car, and they were very impressed with the actual experience of self-autonomous driving cars and the automatic avoidance of obstacles.

Departure safely, passengers onboard and self-driving short trip starts!

In the ASEAN countries that participated in the conference held this time, market movements toward the realization of smart cities are becoming active. In this autonomous driving demonstration driving and riding experience, we were able to understand the current state and progress of self-autonomous driving technology for the "automation of the movement of people and goods", and we were able to strongly realize that we were able to appeal to autonomous driving itself. I made it.
