In this demonstration experiment, an autonomous driving shuttle bus will tour around Shonan iPark, assuming movement from home to the hospital. Inside the moving vehicle, vital sign measurement technology is used to measure the heart rate, oxygen saturation, stress level, etc. of passengers, and simulate digital medical interviews remotely connected to hospitals. Through this, we will investigate the effective use of the patient's travel time for hospital visits, etc., shorten the examination time, improve the productivity of the hospital, etc., and verify the usefulness.

In addition, owning autonomous driving vehicles at the demonstration experiment stage placed a heavy burden on capital investment and vehicle management.

Therefore, Macnica, Fuyo General Lease, and Fuyo Auto Lease (hereinafter referred to as the Fuyo Lease Group) are supporting this demonstration experiment by providing the "autonomous driving Demonstration Experiment Support Service Program" jointly developed by the two companies. Based on its knowledge of autonomous driving technology and track record in consulting, Macnica is supporting this demonstration experiment from planning to the implementation and operation of autonomous driving driving. One of the concepts of this "Healthcare MaaS" is to create a service that uses dedicated self-autonomous driving vehicles to transport patients from their home to the hospital and support them from their examination to their return home, as a mechanism for efficiently receiving healthcare services amid issues such as the burden of going to the hospital for both the patient and their family, crowded hospitals, and waiting times due to visiting multiple medical departments. By supporting this PoC, Macnica and Fuyo Lease Group hope to provide local residents with a convenient, safe, secure, and comfortable lifestyle.
