NAVYA autonomous driving shuttle bus test drive event

For three days from July 3rd to July 5th, 2020, NAVYA's autonomous driving shuttle bus "ARMA" test-ride event was held in the Innovation Corridor in HICity. As part of HICity's "advanced mobility" initiative, the autonomous driving shuttle bus "ARMA" is scheduled to be introduced into the facility from September this year. General customers and facility staff who visited HICity were able to experience a test drive in a limited area with thorough safety measures in the form of going back and forth on a passage of about 30m. Unfortunately, this time we had a manual demonstration, but over the three days, more than 220 people boarded. We received feedback from customers such as "I can feel the future" and "I was able to experience the unknown", and I am happy that we were able to provide new experiences and value that are exactly the concept of HICity. We are currently preparing for the full-scale operation of the autonomous driving shuttle bus from September this year, so please look forward to it and visit us.

What is the autonomous driving shuttle bus "ARMA"?

The autonomous driving shuttle bus "ARMA" used in this test drive event is an EV vehicle equipped with an autonomous driving system manufactured by French company NAVYA. NAVYA's autonomous driving vehicles are designed with safety driving and operation, usability, and business feasibility in mind, and support the commercialization of autonomous driving-driving vehicles. NAVYA has a track record of introducing more than 160 autonomous driving vehicles in more than 20 countries. ARMA has a maximum speed of 25 km/h, a seating capacity of 15 people, and multi-sensor technology such as LiDAR, cameras, and GNSS, which enables highly reliable autonomous driving.
