“VioClean®” is a product of Gtech in Taiwan. It is an LED disinfection lighting that does not use ultraviolet rays and is equipped with normal lighting functions and disinfection technology that is harmless to the human body and effective against bacteria and viruses. By installing the patented disinfection LED technology of Vyv Inc. (formerly Vital Vio), it is possible to prevent the loss of disinfection energy on top of high light transmittance. The most important feature of "VioClean®" is that it is possible to irradiate light with a wavelength that has a sterilizing effect while irradiating normal lighting. This light uses a specific wavelength (405 nm) in ordinary visible light that is completely harmless to the human body, so it is a general lighting method, but it does not kill coronaviruses (SARS-CoV-2) and bacteria even in manned environments. Sterilization and inactivation are possible, and by always turning on "VioClean®", a hygienic environment can be maintained.
“VioClean®” has been introduced in many overseas medical institutions, schools, commercial facilities, homes, etc., and Machida City will be the first in Japan to introduce it.
