Hello everyone.
Before you can simulate with Questa Core/Prime or ModelSim, you need to install it.
This page details how to install Questa Core/Prime and ModelSim. Please refer to this page for how to download the tool.
▶ How to download the Siemens EDA tool
install
① Double-click the downloaded installer to execute it.
(2) When the Welcome screen appears, click Next.
(3) Specify the installation destination.
④ Read the license agreement and click "I Agree" to proceed.
⑤ Please wait while the installation is in progress.
⑥ Select "Yes" to create a shortcut on the desktop.
⑦ Click Yes to add the executable directory to the path. This is useful when compiling or simulating on the DOS prompt.
⑧ If you use a parallel port or USB hardware guard key (dongle) for license authentication, click "Yes" to install the driver.
Click "No" if you do not want to use a guard key (dongle).
⑨ Installation is complete.
