Infineon's high-side and low-side switches are available in a wide range of single and multi-channel products. Equipped with various protection functions such as overheating, short circuit, overload, current limit, open load detection, etc. In addition to automobiles (12V battery environment), automotive applications include trucks/agricultural machinery/construction machinery (24V battery environment). A perfect product for a variety of applications.

Our flagship devices, which are well-established in industrial applications, can now operate over a temperature range of -30°C to 85°C, and newer products have an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.

Product lineup

PROFET™ High Side Switch

The latest PROFET™+2 family is a protected high-side power switch (8mΩ to 200mΩ) with state-of-the-art diagnostic and protection features. A Grade 0 product was also released to extend product life over the existing PROFET™+2 12V lineup and meet extended mission profile requirements. A total of 6 products with on-resistance differences of 4.4mΩ to 20.9mΩ in a TSDSO-14 package have been released for consideration in severe high temperature and various applications.

HITFET™ low-side switches are versatile power transistors ideally designed for automotive and industrial applications. Built-in protection features significantly reduce cost and footprint while improving performance and reliability over traditional discrete solutions. All HITFET™ series offer protection against overloads, overvoltages, short circuits, overheating, and ESD.

SPOC™+ multi-channel high-side driver

We have implemented a multi-channel high-side driver with various additional functions in one package. Integration reduces the complexity of the application circuit, reduces the footprint, and reduces the number of external components required. Control, configuration, and diagnostics are performed via SPI, reducing microcontroller pin count and increasing solution flexibility.

SPIDER+ multi-channel SPI driver

A highly integrated multi-channel SPI driver suitable for driving relays, low current loads such as solenoids, LEDs, small light bulbs, and stepper motors. The SPIDER family (TLE72x series) includes 4-channel and 8-channel low-side driver products, as well as 8-channel low-side / high-side mixed driver products. All products have expandability in terms of the number of PWM inputs, current drive capability, and other functions.
