The SPOC™+2 series of multi-channel SPI high-side controllers are primarily designed to serve applications such as door locks, seat heaters, interior lighting, as well as e-bike lighting and power distribution loads.

SPOC™+2

In the latest SPOC™+2 series, key parameters such as slew rate, load current detection accuracy (KILIS) and overload detection current can be individually configured for up to six channels. Moreover, the new concept allows two channels to drive one load in parallel, thus doubling the supported current range to 1.5A-14A compared to the previous generation.

The SPOC™+2 series also features additional configurable protection features that can be applied to each channel individually. Advanced features such as short circuit and overload protection include configurable overcurrent detection, which can be configured with either limited restart or immediate latching. Control, configuration and diagnostics are performed through the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI), reducing the MCU pin count and making the solution more flexible, while a fail-safe mode is also supported, making it safer during operation.
