Automotive Low Side Switch Product Overview

Infineon's Intelligent Power Devices (IPDs) have a history of over 30 years and have a proven track record in many automotive applications.
When an external load is placed on the upper circuit (power supply side), it is called high-side drive, and when it is placed on the lower circuit (GND side), it is called low-side drive. In addition to many high-side switches, Infineon offers a lineup of low-side switches as the HITFET™ series for 12V battery environments and 24V battery environments, and can be used for heater applications, lighting applications, and valve control. All HITFET™ series provide protection against overload, overvoltage, short circuit, overheating, and electrostatic discharge (ESD).

HITFET™+ 12V

The latest HITFET™+ 12V family is a low-side switch with diagnostic and protection functions for 12V batteries. It is available in the small TDSO-8 and the familiar TO-252 DPAK D2PAK. The BTF family is suitable for switching applications and supports PWM up to 20kHz.

HITFET™+ 24V

The latest HITFET™+ 24V family is ideal for 24V battery systems, primarily in large commercial vehicles, buses, construction machinery and agricultural machinery.

Although this product is our latest model, we can also introduce the Classic HITFET™ 24V depending on the application. If the product below does not match your requirements, please feel free to contact us.
