Introduction

Read this blog to learn more about Automation features.
What are Automations?
Automations, as the name suggests, are functions that perform automation.
It is a function that automatically changes the user status when, who, and in what state, or automatically sends an e-mail according to the situation. We will go into more detail with real use cases.
Use case: Disabling users who have not accessed Okta for a period of time
In this case, the user has not used Okta for 30 days = no license required By doing this within the customer, the account will be disabled for users who have not used it for 30 days.
Setup steps
- Add from Workflow > Automations > Add Automations

- Set conditions
- When will the Automations feature work?
→ Every day at 10:00 AM - Which groups are targeted by the Automations feature?
→Everyone - Under what conditions are you covered?
→ If the user has not used Okta for 30 days

- Next, define an action when the condition is met.
- Send email to user
- Change user status: Suspend/Deactivate/Delete
→ Deactivate process is performed this time

Summary
