Quick actions

Users can quickly and easily switch between a webpage and the AI assistant's chat interface. They can highlight any text and open the assistant from the right-click menu. Users can then start a conversation about the text or select quick actions, such as summarizing, explaining, shortening, or rewriting it into a bulleted list.

Retrieval Augmented Generation（RAG）

The AI Assistant can be configured to access company data using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). This allows the AI Assistant to provide answers based on this connected company information and optimize workflows by providing direct links to support documentation. For example, a customer support representative can search through previous cases to find solutions to customer issues, or a data analyst can use it to identify relevant data sets for reporting.

The AI Assistant can monitor and audit all interactions on the browser. Of course, you can disable this feature if you want to protect user privacy. It also has comprehensive features to protect and control sensitive data held by your organization. Data input is managed by policies, giving you granular control over what data can be input to the AI Assistant. You can also set data boundaries to manage how data moves between business applications and the AI Assistant.

The AI Assistant can be customized to fit the needs of your organization, including but not limited to:

Data Privacy

Many AI vendors have terms of use that require you to consent to the use of the data provided in the prompts you enter to train their AI models. Agreeing to these terms of use is a mandatory requirement for using AI, but it also poses significant risks in terms of data privacy.

Island AI Assistant is developed based on Microsoft's Azure OpenAI service. Azure OpenAI's data privacy policy is more secure than that of consumer AI vendors and is suitable for enterprise use. Prompts (input) and completions (output) are not provided to other customers or OpenAI, and are not used by Microsoft or OpenAI to improve AI models. Azure OpenAI also boasts high confidentiality because it does not share data with other services operated by OpenAI.
