Introducing Cato Socket x1600 LTE: Greater freedom in site deployment!
This time we will introduce the newly released Cato Socket x1600 LTE.
The X1600 LTE is a new model in the X1600 series for medium-sized sites released in 2023.
The basic performance is the same as the X1600, and it is possible to connect to Cato Cloud using LTE lines.
The X1600 LTE is an ideal solution for showrooms and stores with limited network access or frequent relocations. The LTE line makes it easy to connect to Cato Cloud. Let's take a look at the specific features, setup instructions, and connection checks.
1. Features of Cato Socket x1600 LTE
The Cato Socket x1600 LTE has a feature not available in previous Sockets: the ability to connect to the Cato Cloud using an LTE line.
This provides a number of benefits:
- Free location connection: Even in places where it is difficult to install a wired connection, you can connect to the network via LTE.
- Easy setup: No complicated settings are required; just follow the instructions to easily connect to LTE.
- Enhanced redundancy: Sites that normally use WAN lines can switch to LTE lines as a last resort line in an emergency.
2. Setup
When you open the Cato Socket x1600 LTE package, you will find the device, a power adapter, and a simple manual. The appearance is simple and the design allows you to install it anywhere.
The connection setup can be completed in four steps as follows:
- Connecting Power: First, connect the power adapter and power on the device.
- Insert SIM card: Insert a SIM card to use LTE connectivity.
- Network settings: Enter your mobile data account information (APN).
- Connecting a Site: Create a new Site in the CMA and verify that the connection is successful.
