What is Snapdragon for IoT/Embedded?
It is a platform that introduces the high-performance Snapdragon™ processor, which has a proven track record in smartphones, to the IoT market and embedded devices. Equipped with low consumption and powerful CPU/GPU/DSP, Snapdragon™ processor is one of the best solutions for edge computing needs. In addition, the Snapdragon™ 6 series/8 series can efficiently execute trained AI algorithms on-device using the Snapdragon™ Neural Processing Engine SDK (see below) provided by Qualcomm.
In order to provide our customers with the optimal development environment, Macnica handles SOMs (System On Modules) and edge computing devices in addition to chipsets. Furthermore, we will collaborate with companies that can propose software such as OS/middleware/applications on Snapdragon.
