LDO (Linear Regulator) - OPTIREG™ liner

Infineon's LDOs feature ultra-low power consumption (Iq), a wide input voltage range, low dropout voltage, and high reliability. With over 20 years of development and adoption experience in automotive applications, we offer a wide range of products for various uses.

There are four main types of LDOs in our lineup: the "High Performance LDO" which prioritizes high precision, low noise, and low IQ; the "Post Regulator" which is placed after the DC-DC converter and can handle low output voltages while supplying a large current; the "Tracker" which is ideal for sensors and off-board loads that track an external reference voltage; and the "Application Specific" series for special applications such as antenna power supplies and 24V battery compatibility.

DC-DC Converter - OPTIREG™ Switcher

Infineon's DC-DC converters offer a high level of product robustness and quality, enabling efficient operation in a wide range of automotive applications. We primarily offer a lineup of step-down converters.

Power Management IC - OPTIREG™ PMIC

Infineon's PMICs are integrated multi-output power management ICs designed for automotive systems requiring particularly stringent functional safety levels in areas such as chassis, safety, ADAS, powertrain, and drivetrain. These PMICs feature efficient and reliable regulators, including LDOs, post-regulators, DC-DC converters, and trackers, along with power supply, additional monitoring, and control functions, ensuring reliable monitoring and facilitating the design of ECU safety concepts. In addition to a general-purpose lineup, we also offer products specifically tailored for ADAS and transmissions.

Furthermore, Infineon's PMICs are highly compatible with the AURIX™ series of automotive microcontrollers. By considering them as a set, you can receive easier design support and meet stringent functional safety requirements. Even if changing the microcontroller is difficult due to the reuse of design assets or development time constraints, we can also consider a set with a microcontroller from another manufacturer.
