Buck Converter

The TLS412xD0EP series is a 2.8MHz synchronous step-down DC-DC converter specifically designed for automotive applications. It offers a 2A to 2.5A current capability, a fixed output voltage of 3.3V or 5.0V, and a feedback voltage accuracy of ±1.5% in PWM mode. The integrated power stage, soft-start function, and internal compensation network reduce the number of external components required, helping to reduce system cost and board space. The wide input voltage range and 100% duty cycle operation mode make it ideal for battery cranking scenarios in automotive applications. Additionally, spread spectrum frequency modulation can be enabled to improve EMI performance during PWM operation, while PFM mode reduces current consumption and optimizes efficiency at light loads.
