This article introduces 1000BASE-T1 and 100BASE-T1 compatible media converters used for in-vehicle Ethernet evaluation.
Overview
Automotive Ethernet standard IEEE802.3bp/802.3bw compliant 1000BASE-T1 and 100BASE-T1 compatible Media Converter equipped with Broadcom BCM89883.
This product can operate at 1 Gbps as a jig for converting an ECU (evaluation target device) equipped with 1000BASE-T1 (Open Alliance BroadR-Reach, hereinafter OABR) to 1000BASE-T. Alternatively, it is possible to operate at 100Mbps as a jig that converts an ECU (evaluation target device) equipped with 100BASE-T1 (OABR) to 100BASE-TX.

‐ Uses USB power supply, so power can be supplied from a PC
‐ Uses MATEnet connector for in-vehicle Ethernet 1000BASE-T1/100BASE-T1
‐ Uses RJ-45 connector for 1000BASE-T/100BASE-TX
