Collecting pressure data in the factory wirelessly for control and monitoring

TE Connectivity 's Wireless Pressure Transducer M5600 can be used to measure liquid/gas pressure in factories and monitor via Bluetooth.

The wireless capability enables remote monitoring of environmental media such as contaminated water, steam, and mildly corrosive fluids. The M5600 also features a 24-bit ADC for highly accurate measurements.

In the past, many pressure transducers with displays were used in factories, and visual checks were performed each time.
With the introduction of this product, remote process control and monitoring can be performed using Bluetooth, which is commonly used in factories.
Therefore, it is possible to reduce the confirmation man-hours, prevent human error, and realize constant monitoring.

2. Can be installed without changing existing piping!

We have ports of various diameters and sizes.
Therefore, it can be replaced without modifying the existing piping.

3. No need to develop new software

Applications for smartphones/tablets (iOS/Android) and Windows are provided. No new software development is required for the introduction of this product.

In addition, since Bluetooth communication uses GATT, it is easy to develop your own software.

4. Approximately 2 years of battery-powered operation

Low power consumption is achieved by adopting Bluetooth Low energy.
If you use a CR2050 350mAH battery and communicate at 5 second intervals in a room temperature environment, you can operate for about 2 years.

5. Durability that can withstand harsh environments

The wetted surfaces of the pressure port are made of stainless steel. No O-rings, welds, or organics exposed to pressure media for durability. (Dustproof and waterproof performance: IP66/67)
This makes them suitable for applications in environments such as contaminated water, steam, and mildly corrosive fluids.

Connect to your smartphone in just 3 steps

M5600 can be used immediately by using a dedicated application.
There are 3 steps to get started.

  1. Download and install the iOS or Android “TE Sensor Tag” app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Power on the wireless pressure transducer “M5600”.
  3. Run the “TE Sensor Tag” app and pair with the M5600.


Now the pressure and temperature chart can be measured automatically.
Data is collected every 5 seconds and data collection can be adjusted from 0.1 seconds to 0.1 seconds to 5 seconds.

Connect to smartphone

PC application that can measure and display 5 units at the same time

By using the PC application “TESS 5600 for Windows” provided by TE Connectivity, you can display the measured values of up to five “TESS 5600” in parallel.

In addition, you can also take different sensor measurements by clicking on the sensor tag.

Measured data can be downloaded to a PC and analyzed freely, so pressure data can be accumulated and analyzed smoothly.
