Support Policy for Infoblox Products

  • The end of support (End of Life) date for a product (hardware) will be 4 years after the end of sales date for the product, and maintenance equipment will be provided for these 4 years. In addition, depending on the maintenance machine, changes to the existing environment such as resetting and OS upgrade may be required, and support costs may change at the time of support renewal.
    Virtual appliance software products are also subject to their end of support dates.
  • The product (software) is
    • During the 12 months after release, patches will be provided for all bugs during the “General Maintenance” period.
    • From the 13th month to the 24th month after release, only patches for service-affecting defects and security vulnerabilities will be provided as a “Limited Maintenance” period.
    • From the 25th month to the 36th month after the release, the "Limited Support" period will be used to investigate bugs and propose workarounds. Also, only fatal bug fixes are made on a request basis.
    • From the 37th month after the release until the end of support (End of Tech Support), there will be a "Restricted Support" period, where bugs will be investigated and workarounds will be presented.

Dedicated support browsing service for maintenance service subscribers

This is a support browsing service exclusively for users who have subscribed to Infoblox product maintenance services. An ID and password are required for use.

  • Your account will be the email address you registered with.
  • If you have forgotten your password, please reset your password by clicking "Forgot your password?" on the login screen.
  • Old support site accounts cannot be used.
  • Even if you have previously registered for support browsing with another product, you will need to register an Infoblox account, so please apply for browsing registration below.
  • Please note that users who have subscribed to the maintenance service will be canceled if they do not renew after one month from the expiration of the maintenance contract.
