Macnica supports a cybersecurity training exercise conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications for AJCCBC to strengthen its response capabilities to cyberattacks – providing ASM training in the first exercise conducted in collaboration with a private company.

Macnica (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Representative Director and President: Kazumasa Hara, hereinafter referred to as Macnica) announced today that it has provided training on Attack Surface Management (ASM) as part of the training program at the ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre (hereinafter referred to as AJCCBC), promoted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.

This program, organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and conducted through AJCCBC in Bangkok, Thailand, targets cybersecurity personnel from government agencies and critical infrastructure organizations across ASEAN countries. Its purpose is to improve cybersecurity capabilities and develop human resources in the region.

The first public-private partnership exercise in March 2026 brought together cybersecurity personnel from Brunei, Indonesia, Laos, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam. During this exercise, Macnica provided training on OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) and AI agent utilization related to ASM based on the knowledge cultivated at Macnica ASM over two days. Focusing on topics such as understanding public assets using public information on the Internet, visualizing attack surfaces, and prioritizing risk-based priorities, participants were given practical knowledge that they could use in the field.

This recruitment reflects the recognition of Macnica 's technical capabilities and practical expertise in the ASM (Anti-Security Management) domain, which are valued in the context of building international cybersecurity capabilities. Furthermore, it demonstrates a part of the Company global activities as an initiative to deploy Japanese-originated knowledge to the ASEAN region within a public-private partnership framework.
