(Headquarters: Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture; Board Director: Hidefumi Kobayashi; hereinafter "The 77 Bank") as part of its information infrastructure renewal to achieve zero trust and promote digital transformation. These cybersecurity solutions, delivered based on the AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon® platform, have significantly strengthened The 77 Bank's security posture and accelerated its long-term digital transformation (DX).

Founded in 1878, The Seventy-Seven Bank is the largest bank in the Tohoku region, headquartered in Sendai. In May 2021, the bank announced a new management plan entitled "Vision 2030 - A leading company shaping the future." As one of the key factors in achieving this plan, the bank has begun initiatives for digital transformation. This is a digital transformation of banking operations, an initiative that involves employee work reforms and the development of IT infrastructure.

For many years, The 77 Bank ensured safety through boundary isolation security, which separates internal and external networks. Because the boundaries between the inside and outside of the network were clearly defined, the bank believed its operations were safe and only used traditional antivirus software.
