Product Summary
SI82Ax/Bx/Cx/Dx/Ex/Fx are a lineup of high-output, high-performance, small-package gate drivers. The lineup includes current capabilities of 1A and 6A peak, and the lineup includes sink/source separate terminals or one terminal for output. Input voltages up to 20V can be applied, and the CMOS threshold makes it easy to replace existing circuits. There is a lineup of 1ch/2ch products, and the 2ch products have a logic overlap protection function that prevents the upper and lower outputs from turning on at the same time, and a DT (Dead Time) terminal that controls timing. There are products that can be controlled by VIA/VIB and PWM terminals. The input/output delay time is very good at <30ns, and the delay time for products is <5ns. The CMTI is also high at >200kV/us, making it ideal as a driver for next-generation power devices aiming for high efficiency. UVLO is available in 4, 8, 12, and 15V.
In addition, there is a new lineup of Si82Cx/Fx that allows gate drive with constant current. It can suppress sudden changes in gate current and does not require a limiting resistor Rg for current control. By not using Rg, the Miller clamp circuit can be incorporated into the output terminal, and despite being a 2-channel driver with Miller clamp, it contributes to the miniaturization of the system with a package such as SOIC14 (7.5x10.3mm). The amount of current can be changed from the input side (SPD terminal) with 8 fixed patterns.

We offer a lineup of 1ch and 2ch gate drivers, voltage-driven type with peak currents of 1A and 6A, and performance drivers that can be driven with a specified constant current. The pin arrangement is almost the same for both the single and dual lineups, so you can design a layout that allows you to swap them out by arranging the control pins in a creative way.
In addition, the Si82Cx and Fx can adjust the Tr/Tf of the output waveform by varying the internal gate resistance (SEL VCD function).

Product features
- The input range is 3 to 20V and has built-in UVLO. CMOS threshold deglitch filter option is also available, making it resistant to noise.
- The output power supply voltage range is 5 to 30V, and the UVLO is 4, 8, 12, and 15V. Two drive types are available: voltage-driven 6A peak Value Dr and constant current-driven Performance Dr.
- Skew between devices and channels is small at less than 5ns (max)
- The 2ch product is equipped with a DT (dead time) function in addition to overlap protection in the input logic to prevent the upper and lower terminals from being turned on simultaneously.

ESD configuration
From the perspective of functional safety, the ESD diodes on the input pins are independent of the VDDI pin, preventing malfunctions when VDDI is lost.
