SiC Schottky Barrier Diode Product Overview

SiC Schottky barrier diodes are power semiconductors that use SiC (silicon carbide), and are devices capable of realizing high voltage diodes of 600V or higher. Replacing Si with SiC in PFC (Power Factor Correction) circuits, motor drive inverter circuits, etc., enables equipment miniaturization and energy savings. It is used in various fields such as air conditioners, power supplies, photovoltaic power conditioners, and EV quick chargers.

Product features

Compared to Si (silicon) power semiconductors, it has high-speed switching, low on-resistance, and a small package.
