We'd like to introduce two new high-side switches for automotive applications from ON Semiconductor.
Product Summary
The "F" series consists of direct-control high-side switches with standard features.
The "G" series is also a direct-control eFuse high-side switch that features I²T, low-power mode, and capacitive load charging capabilities.
Both series are available in a TSSOP-14 package, and the products are available with different on-resistance levels as shown in the table below.

CSFault identification in output: Faster fault detection, isolation, and recovery.
・ Intelligent retry for inrush current management: Suppresses current overshoot and enhances load protection.

Standard high-side function ( “F” Series) Additional
・ Capacitive load charging mode Active inrush current control with automatic entry/exit.
It has a large-capacity bulk capacitor. ECU Dedicated CL(capacitive load) It can be safely switched on in this mode. MCU Highway from GPIO No control is required.
・ low power consumption IDLE mode: 88µA —Smart transition to normal mode
Dual-purpose IDLE The flag indicates IDLE Enables mode activation/deactivation control and automatic transitions between modes.
・ Variable overcurrent threshold: Supports multiple applications, flexible overcurrent detection level settings
・ I²tProtection function: Enables seamless replacement of conventional electromechanical fuses.
