Product Summary
The NCD83591 is an easy-to-use 60 V multi-Our Group's Purpose three-phase gate driver with a high gain bandwidth current sense amplifier, ideal for trapezoidal wave control motor applications. The gate drive current of the output stage power MOSFET can be adjusted by an external voltage divider resistor value, and the charge current can be set in the range of 5 to 250 mA (discharge current is twice the charge current).
In addition, the NCD83591 built-in voltage regulator generates the internal gate driver circuit drive voltage from the motor voltage of 5 to 60 V, so it can operate with a single power supply. The QFN 28 (4mm x 4mm) package allows the design of three-phase motor drive circuits in a small footprint.

Gate sensing and dead time
The IL input is active low and the IH input is active high.
Even if the same pulse signal is input to IL and IH, the gate sensing of NCD83591 causes the port that has already output High to fall, and after the dead time (txcp) elapses, the next output port becomes High.
