ONSEMI's IPMs are equipped with high-side controllers, low-side controllers, IGBTs (or MOSFETs), fast recovery diodes (FRDs) and bootstrap diodes (except for some products), greatly saving space compared to circuit configuration with discrete products. This contributes to simplification of design, simplification of design, and miniaturization of heat sinks.

In addition to ONSEMI's original package, you can select the most suitable product from a wide range of product groups, such as pin-compatible package products with other companies' products.

From high-side and low-side controllers to IGBTs, MOSFETs, and fast recovery diodes, ONSEMI's strength is that it owns all the devices mounted in these IPMs. Thermal and noise characteristics are optimized by using IGBTs optimized for motor drives and a proprietary DBC (Direct Bonded Copper) substrate with excellent heat dissipation characteristics.
