GNSS is seeing increased use in a wide range of fields, including automotive equipment, industrial equipment, and consumer electronics, and in recent years, the need for even higher accuracy positioning has grown even more.
Consequently, LNAs used in GNSS receiving circuits are required to have performance that combines multiband capability with high linearity.
This product is a multi-band, wideband LNA featuring high linearity, developed to meet the growing need for high-precision GNSS positioning in automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics.
It achieves high linearity across the entire GNSS band (1164MHz to 1610MHz), enabling stable reception and high-precision positioning even in environments with strong interference signals such as 5G/LTE, Wi-Fi, BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), and satellite communications.
The main features are as follows:
- ・ Operating frequency: 1164MHz to 1610MHz
- ・ Operating current: 12mA typ. @ V DD = 3.3V
- ・ High P-1dB (IN): +1.5dBm typ. @ L1 band
0dBm typ. @ L2/L5/L6 band
- ・ High gain: 17.5dB typ. @ L1 band
18.0dB typ. @ L2/L5/L6 band
- Low noise figure: 0.65dB typ. @ L1/L2/L5/L6 band
These characteristics make this product ideal for improving the reception sensitivity of GNSS multiband compatible GNSS receivers, communication modules, and other devices.
We are also developing a product that complies with automotive standards (AEC-Q100).

Features
Achieves high linearity
It achieves high linearity with P-1dB(IN) = 0dBm, and exhibits excellent resistance to strong input signals and interference waves superimposed on the GNSS bandwidth.
As a result, it is possible to stably receive GNSS signals even in environments with strong interference.
This LNA is ideal for GNSS equipment that incorporates multiple communication functions simultaneously, such as GNSS antennas, tracking devices, and communication modules.
Figure. Example of NT1199 usage.
Achieves high performance over wide bandwidth.
While covering the entire GNSS bandwidth with a common external circuit, it achieves an industry-leading level of 0.65dB.*1It achieves low noise figure (NF), flat and high gain of approximately 18dB, and high linearity simultaneously with a low operating current of 12mA.
This significantly improves the reception sensitivity and positioning accuracy of multiband GNSS equipment.
