Power dock service list page

What is a power dock?

This is a technical service provided by Macnica regarding power supply circuits and FPGA board layout.

  • I want to prevent problems related to power supply circuits!
  • I have a problem with the power supply circuit, but I'm in trouble because I don't know the cause!
  • PCI-Express link-up is caused by the power supply, but I don't know how to deal with it!

For customers like this, we will use the know-how of Macnica engineers to help solve problems.

Defect cause identification service

This service is used when a problem occurs in the power supply circuit during trial production or mass production, or when the cause is unknown and countermeasures cannot be found even though the result of the problem analysis is overvoltage breakdown.

Power supply consulting service

This is a service that conducts a design review together with the customer to ensure that there are no problems with the PCI Express (PCIe) linkup, etc. regarding the layout of the power supply and GND between the power supply circuit on the board and the FPGA.

Phase margin measurement service

This service is used when you want to measure the phase margin to confirm whether the phase margin of the designed DC/DC converter circuit is as expected, or when you see characteristics that tend to oscillate.

Power supply design seminar for FPGA designers

It is possible to learn about the layout of power supply layers and capacitors around the FPGA from the power supply circuit design based on actual failure cases that occurred on boards equipped with FPGA.

Power column

This book is based on actual cases of power supply troubles that were contacted by Macnica 's technical staff. We have written it in a format that does not use mathematical formulas so that you can easily understand the technical knowledge and know-how.
