ref#3

We have developed a plus/minus power supply reference board that is ideal for high-precision analog circuits used in audio equipment and industrial equipment.

When performing high-precision analog processing in systems equipped with audio equipment, PLCs, and sensors, operational amplifiers that require plus and minus power supplies are required to ensure dynamic range. In that case, ±5V, ±12V, ±15V, etc. are required, so the power supply circuit may become large and complicated.

This reference board uses a power supply controller IC (type: LT8471) from Analog Devices to design two power supplies, plus and minus. This makes the power supply for analog very compact. In addition, since this reference circuit supports step-down/step-up/step-down/step-down operation, it can handle a wide range of input voltages and can be used as a positive/negative power supply for operational amplifiers.
