This TFT LCD monitor achieves both the beauty of a transmissive LCD and outdoor visibility, and because of its high transmittance and sufficient display brightness even with ultra-low power consumption, it is an ideal LCD monitor for markets that require low power consumption and high image quality, such as professional portable devices such as handheld terminals, broadcasting/video equipment, medical equipment, and surveillance systems. This product can output video to a TFT LCD monitor via the MIPI D-PHY DSI interface (*1) via the HSMC (*2) connector on the Intel ®FPGA board. The video source input to the DVI is converted to a V-by-One®HS interface and connected to the FPGA via the HSMC connector. The data processed by Northwest Logic's MIPI DSI IP (*3) inside the FPGA is output to a TFT LCD monitor via the Meticom MIPI D-PHY DSI transmitter.
Since this product is equipped with an HSMC connector, it can be connected to various Intel ®FPGA-based evaluation boards, as well as Helio, Hydra, Beryll, and Nitro (*4) sold by the Mpression brand, via the HSMC connector, and can utilize various types of FPGAs and their functions to perform MIPI DSI It is possible to evaluate the connection and design of the interface with the LCD panel.
