1.Overview
In the previous article, we introduced RTK information, setup after Taoglas EL.1A arrived, and indoor evaluation using U-center. As a result, I was able to confirm the addition of GPS/Glonass/Galileo/BeiDou/QZSS.
This time, I would like to evaluate the accuracy using the RTK function.
2. Evaluation results
Test environment (Date: 2020/10/13 AM Weather: Sunny/Cloudy)
We are experimenting with EL.1A placed on the ground in the environment shown above.

Difference from indoor
Satellite acquisition speed: Indoors, only GPS was supplemented at startup, but we were able to confirm that GPS/Glonass/Galileo/Beidou were supplemented at the timing of startup outdoors.
C/N confirmation: Most of them were 30dB or less indoors, but it can be confirmed that 35dB or more can be secured for outdoor C/N.
Evaluation result when RTK function is enabled
Indoors, there was almost no transition to the FIXED state, but outdoors, FIX could be immediately confirmed and measured.
Ultimately, when we checked the accuracy, which was the purpose of this project, we were able to confirm that it was within 5 cm as shown in the figure below. I think that the number of samples is small, so I will post reference data after this.

Due to the balance of the test environment, we could not confirm the 1.4 cm in the data sheet, but we were able to confirm that it converged within 2.5 cm. Even when the RTK function is OFF, the positioning result is extremely accurate because it is within 75 cm.
3. Summary
Along with the previous article, I posted the evaluation of EL.1A in two parts, but I also reported that EL.1A can supplement GPS/Glonass/Galileo/BeiDou/QZSS, andthe accuracy when implementing the RTK function. I think we did.
