CAN transceiver "NCV7344" for industrial and automotive applications
The NCV7344 is a CAN transceiver from ONSEMI. It has features such as low power consumption, high ESD resistance, and stable communication at 1Mbps or higher. It is compliant with the automotive standard AEC-Q100 and has a temperature range of -40 to 150°C.
Therefore, it is a product suitable for industrial equipment and automotive applications. The NCV7344 has the following advantages:
1. Ultra-low power consumption as it wakes up via the CAN bus
It has an ultra-low current standby mode with wake-up and consumes only 10μA in standby mode. Therefore, the power consumption of the CAN network can be reduced.
2. Resistant to noise and does not affect other devices
It has low electromagnetic emissions (EMI) and high electromagnetic immunity. Not affected by the electromagnetic surrounding environment. It does not affect the surrounding environment.
Therefore, it can be used in noisy industrial equipment and in-vehicle environments.
3. High-speed communication of 5Mbps is possible
It supports up to 5Mbps. Stable communication can be performed at a data rate exceeding 1 Mbps, so it can be used in environments with heavy traffic such as industrial networks.
4. Very high ESD resistance and indestructible
With 8 kV ESD pulse resistance, it protects the device from destruction due to static electricity, etc.
5. Allows direct interface with microcontrollers
It is possible to transmit and receive differential signals with the NCV7344 and a microcomputer equipped with a CAN controller.
