Many people have probably noticed an increase in security incidents involving ransomware attacks and data breaches at various companies recently, haven't they?
This situation stems from the fact that servers (especially RDP) and network devices (especially VPNs) exposed to the outside world, with insufficient management and vulnerability countermeasures at the company, its subsidiaries, and overseas locations, are being exploited as a fourth entry point for intrusion, following the traditional USB, web, and email. In March of this year, a VPN breach in the supply chain of a major company led to damage and a serious situation resulting in the large-scale shutdown of factory lines.
This seminar will provide a clear explanation of the background to the recent surge in incidents and the methods used by attackers. Furthermore, as the first step in the countermeasures that each company should implement now, we will introduce a solution that enables the identification and visualization of externally exposed assets and rogue servers that administrators, including those at overseas locations and subsidiaries related to your company, may not be aware of.
If you feel even the slightest concern about attacks that exploit VPNs and other security measures, including ransomware, we encourage you to participate.
