[Point 1] Easy to install and lightweight agent

• It consists of "PCE" which handles all management functions and "VEN" which is an agent that controls the OS standard firewall on each host.
• By adopting the SaaS version of PCE, customers no longer need to build and maintain PCE
• By utilizing the OS's standard firewall functions, the impact on the installation environment is minimized and more secure communication control is achieved.

[Point 2] Easy communication visualization

• Labels can be used to group hosts or traffic events
• By simply installing an agent on each host, such as a server or client, you can visualize end-to-end communications between hosts.
• Improved readability of communication occurrence status by adding information such as labels, hosts not managed by Illumio, and network segments.

[Point 3] Intuitive communication understanding

• Display format according to the survey purpose (map display/mesh display/detailed display)
• Interactive GUI with selection and filtering allows for exploratory research

[Point 4] All environments can be managed with a common policy

• A common communication control policy can be defined regardless of the type of environment or OS.
• Illumio sets the settings according to the environment and OS, and applies the rules to the OS standard firewall of each host.
