We need to develop a data infrastructure for analyzing the newly released service.
TOA Corporation is a specialized manufacturer that provides value to society in the form of safety, trust, and inspiration through the use of professional audio and video equipment. We provide systems that contribute to solving unique challenges in various settings, including educational facilities, train stations and transportation infrastructure, factories, and commercial facilities. Currently, we have formulated "NEXT100 TOA," a long-term management strategy aimed at our 100th anniversary in 2034. We are promoting a medium-term basic management plan that focuses on innovating communication solutions for business transformation, accelerating overseas growth, evolving customer support solutions, and developing new businesses.
This company has launched "YUTTE," a speech synthesis service that allows users to create voice announcements from text input. It is expected to be used in a variety of situations, such as store announcements and disaster broadcasts, and is being used by over 4,000 companies, including those participating in the free trial. The highly perceptive development and planning departments have expressed a need to analyze the usage of this service in order to improve the service and implement promotional strategies.
In fact, the company had built a data analysis platform for its remote maintenance services related to broadcasting equipment by combining multiple services and dashboard solutions available on Google Cloud, such as Dataflow and BigQuery. However, they felt the effort involved in developing and managing these combined services. "Since YUTTE itself runs on AWS, we could have considered a data infrastructure using various AWS services, but ultimately, we would have had to combine multiple services individually. As the Global Development Headquarters Data Management Section, which operates with a small, elite team, we thought that the best approach would be one that would reduce the development and management burden," recalls Ryota Ikeuchi, leader of the AI Data Group in the same section.
