On September 8, 2026, Vice Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Mr. Nemoto, visited Macnica for an inspection.
During this visit, we focused on the use of data and AI in plant factories, one of the 17 areas of the government's growth strategy, specifically food tech. We toured our plant cultivation facility (Food Agri Tech Incubation Base), introduced cutting-edge technologies for the industrial development of plant factories towards 2040, and exchanged opinions on future industry-government-academia collaboration utilizing technology.
