Arblet has released the 'Alysis-001' blood pressure calculation program, the first in Japan to enable cuffless blood pressure monitoring during daily activities.

[Head Office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Shigeru Uehara] (hereinafter referred to as Taisho Pharmaceutical) are pleased to announce that they will launch the cuffless blood pressure monitoring device "Arblet Blood Pressure Calculation Program Alysis-001" (hereinafter referred to as Alysis®) on July 31, 2026.
It is estimated that there are approximately 43 million people with hypertension in Japan, of which 31 million are said to be poorly managed*. In recent years, there has been growing interest in blood pressure fluctuations in daily life, such as masked hypertension, white-coat hypertension, nocturnal hypertension, and morning surges, which are difficult to detect through measurements taken only during medical examinations.
Alysis® is a blood pressure recording program designed to track blood pressure fluctuations outside of medical consultations. Its key features include one-minute interval blood pressure measurement and a cuff-free design, reducing the hassle and discomfort of wearing a cuff, enabling continuous, long-term blood pressure monitoring in daily life. In terms of accuracy, it complies with the international standard "ISO 81060-2:2018" and has obtained medical device manufacturing and sales approval (approval number: 30600BZX00212000). Furthermore, the results of a clinical study conducted by Osaka University and Arblet based on the European Society of Hypertension's recommended Awake/asleep test (a comparative study with existing portable continuous blood pressure monitors) were reported in the journal Hypertension Research**.
Macnica, Arblet, and Taisho Pharmaceutical will work together to make the importance of blood pressure management more accessible through the provision of Alysis®, and to contribute to the early detection of hypertension and to higher quality diagnosis and treatment.
