Macnica launches Box distributor business on Google Cloud Marketplace, the first in Japan
Macnica (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Kazumasa Hara; hereinafter Macnica") announced today that it will become the first company in Japan to launch a distributor business for Box, the intelligent content management platform, on Google Cloud Marketplace, the integrated cloud product marketplace provided by Google Cloud.
Background and Objectives
As digital transformation (DX) accelerates, companies are being asked to securely manage massive amounts of unstructured data and effectively utilize AI. Box, an intelligent content management platform, is used worldwide to extract valuable insights from content scattered both inside and outside the company, particularly through its enterprise AI feature "Box AI," helping to improve business efficiency and decision-making, and the number of companies adopting it is increasing every year.
By starting sales of Box on the Google Cloud Marketplace as a distributor in Japan, Macnica will expand sales channels to meet growing demand for Box and improve customer convenience.

Macnica will sell Box through the Google Cloud Marketplace using the Marketplace Channel Private Offer (MCPO) system.
Box partners will be able to leverage their existing Google Cloud relationships and Google Cloud Marketplace capabilities to procure and sell Box, significantly expanding the reach of their business. Google Cloud customers will also be able to deploy Box through integration with their existing contracts and billing structures, simplifying the procurement process and accelerating adoption.

Payments can be integrated into existing Google Cloud contracts, greatly simplifying the management of cloud usage.
Rapid implementation and start of use:
Compared to traditional individual contracts, you can start implementing and using Box in a shorter period of time.
High-value-added support from Macnica:
Even if you purchase through Google Cloud Marketplace, you can receive support and customer success that leverages Macnica 's extensive experience in implementing Box. Going forward, we will also be preparing to offer on Google Cloud Marketplace provisioning automation and data migration using our proprietary "Hakonnect *," which reduces customers' operational burden, as well as our Box integration solutions (log analysis, security integration, construction support, etc.).

Going forward, Macnica will not only sell the product as a distributor, but will also work with Box and Google Cloud to help maximize the value of corporate content through collaboration with Box AI agents. We will strive to enable companies to utilize unstructured data stored on Box in a secure and compliant manner, and realize new ways of working that utilize AI, such as natural language search, summarization, knowledge extraction, and business automation.
