Macnica (Head office: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Kazumasa Hara; hereinafter referred to as Macnica) announced today that it has entered into a distributorship agreement for the enterprise Web3 infrastructure "THXNET. Web3aaS" with THXLAB Inc. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Board Director: Kotaro Kondo (Aro); hereinafter referred to as "THXLAB"), a company that promotes the construction of large-scale distributed blockchain networks originating in Japan and the next generation of social infrastructure, and that the two companies will form a business alliance in the areas of sales and support.

■Background and purpose of the partnership
As corporate digital transformation progresses, expectations are rising for Web3 technology as a means of creating new value. Web3 is a system that allows individuals and companies to manage their own data and value over the Internet, enabling stablecoin support, the creation of new relationships with customers and points economies, and the provision of highly reliable services in industries such as finance, entertainment, and retail. However, the specialized knowledge, initial costs, and complex technical requirements for blockchain development and operation present barriers to corporate adoption. There is a need for services that overcome these challenges and allow many companies to easily utilize the benefits of Web3.
