NEC has implemented various security measures up to now, but has always viewed multi-factor authentication for on-premise AD as an important issue in strengthening security across the entire domain.
Against this background, NEC considered introducing an identity protection solution that could apply Azure MFA (multi-factor authentication) to on-premises environments, and adopted Falcon Identity Protection. Falcon Identity Protection offers a variety of options to enable multi-factor authentication regardless of the status of the on-premises AD to which it is being introduced, and this was a major reason for its selection.
