Macnica signs domestic distributorship agreement with Black Duck - Meeting diverse needs in software development and providing consistent support for the secure development lifecycle -

Macnica (headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Kazumasa Hara; hereinafter "Macnica") announced today that it has entered into a domestic sales agency agreement with Black Duck Software, LLC (headquarters: Setagaya Ward, Tokyo; Country Manager: Abe Hiroya; hereinafter "Black Duck").

Background
Software development such as applications has become essential in all industries, including manufacturing, and companies are being asked to develop faster than ever before in order to meet rapidly changing market needs and maintain a competitive advantage. At the same time, appropriate security measures are essential from the perspective of responding to new vulnerabilities discovered every day, complying with laws and regulations, and improving brand reliability. For this reason, there is a demand for the creation of a development cycle that realizes high-speed development while taking security into consideration, in other words, a secure development lifecycle.
