1. Background

Macnica is a technology trading company headquartered in Yokohama that has been implementing cutting-edge technologies in society since its founding in 1972. The company has been discovering overseas semiconductor and cybersecurity startups and providing marketing and technical support while honing its sourcing and implementation capabilities. Currently, based on the capabilities and human networks it has cultivated over the years, the company is building an ecosystem with co-creation partners to solve social issues and create new value in the three areas of "Business & Economy," "Life & Society," and "Green & Earth."
With the aim of generating unicorn-class startups in Yokohama, the city of Yokohama is opening "TECH HUB YOKOHAMA," a tech startup support hub in the Minato Mirai 21 district. Macnica, a local company based in Yokohama, will act as a mentor company.

2Mentoring by Macnica

TECH HUB YOKOHAMA will actively provide necessary advice to tech startups gathering at the company, leveraging the knowledge and global network that Macnica has cultivated, in order to support the launch of new products and services developed by startups.

Applications will be accepted through a form on the official TECH HUB YOKOHAMA website (scheduled to open in mid-November). The operator will then coordinate between the startups and Macnica and provide mentoring at TECH HUB YOKOHAMA.
