Macnica Solutions Corp. Today, we are pleased to announce the launch of Macnica U's Case Visualizer for Okta (hereinafter referred to as MUCV for Okta), a data analysis platform that makes it easy to store and authenticate long-term operation logs and visualize the usage status of SaaS licenses.

While the spread of remote work and cloud services has enabled people to work from anywhere, the importance of user identity management has increased due to an increase in security incidents such as information leaks caused by unauthorized access and inappropriate permission settings. However, as the number of cloud services and internal systems used increases, the number of things to be managed also increases, and management becomes more complicated due to employee joining and leaving the company and personnel transfers. Therefore, IDaaS (Identity as a Service), which can manage identity management, authentication, access control, etc. all together on the cloud, is an essential mechanism.

The standard function of Okta WIC is to store logs for three months. MUCV for Okta allows you to store logs for any period of time as a log storage function, eliminating the need for manual work to manually export log data each time an investigation is performed. This function allows you to store logs for more than three months without any effort, further increasing your security level.

2. Visualization of usage status of SaaS licenses that are managed by authentication
The usage status of SaaS licenses that are authenticated and managed through Okta WIC is listed and visualized on a dashboard. By visualizing the difference between the number of licenses contracted and the actual usage status of SaaS, it is possible to identify SaaS licenses that are incurring unnecessary operational costs.
