Akamai Technologies and Macnica Solutions Sign First Distributor Agreement in Japan - Combining the strengths of each company's portfolio and security expertise to launch a new security computing business -

Akamai Technologies, G.K. (headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hirokazu Hikuma; hereinafter "Akamai") and Macnica Solutions Corp. (headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Yoshihide Hatakeyama; hereinafter "Macnica Solutions") announced today that they have signed Akamai's first Distributor agreement in Japan.

Akamai has expanded its business with content delivery network (CDN), web and API protection, and zero trust security solutions. It provides content delivery and cloud security services through Akamai Connected Cloud, the world's largest distributed platform consisting of servers installed in more than 4,100 locations in 130 countries around the world.
