Lecture "Thorough analysis of the effect of 'reflection loss' in high-speed optical fiber communication! Resolving communication errors due to reflection."
This is a sequel to JANOG49's announcement "100GbE transmission does not stop errors. We will solve the effects of reflection." Regarding the problem caused by "reflection" in high-speed optical fiber transmission, we will present quantitative data and solutions using actual equipment, focusing on the "eye pattern" when a communication error occurs, which was not confirmed in the previous presentation.

Lecture "Is it possible? 400G optical transmission?"
This program is the 400 Gbps version of the series of presentations at JANOG, "The optical transmission series that can be done."
Until now, JANOG has proposed solutions to module costs and DCI issues at 10Gbps and 100Gbps, but this time we will focus on the issues of optical transmission at 400Gbps. Verification and practical use of 400Gbps Ethernet have already begun at telecommunications carriers and large-scale content providers. However, with 400 Gbps optical transmission, measuring instruments, switches, and other devices and modules themselves are still expensive, and it is clear that the biggest bottleneck is cost. I would like to share the challenge of 400 Gbps, which is not an easy task, with everyone at JANOGer and discuss "what should be changed?"
